Oxbridge preparation

I was a free school meal (now "Pupil Premium") student from Sheffield - if I can do it, so can you.

I not only went to Oxford University, but I also have over 250 hours of experience giving mock Oxbridge interviews.

I can help by providing:

  • Mock interviews and practice questions

  • Personal statement surgery

  • Workshops for thinking skills

  • Advice on the interview process

  • Teacher training in mock interviews

Which subjects do you interview in?

I am a physical scientist (a chemist). I have worked across environmental sciences, engineering, and maths, so can offer interviews in a range of subjects. Life sciences, medicine and veterinary science tend to interview differently.

Ask me about:

  • Chemistry

  • Maths

  • Physics

  • Materials science

  • Environmental science

  • Engineering

  • Biochemistry

I can offer a limited number of interviews in these subjects:

  • Biological sciences

  • Philosophy of science

  • Medicine

  • Veterinary science

Examples of workshops for thinking skills:

Introducing Oxbridge-style science puzzles, this practice-based session will walk you through creative problem-solving to help you harness your headspace and take on higher-order thinking.

Intro slide Higher Order thinking presentation

From the genius of crowds to the power of “I don’t know”, take on a series of challenges that will test your ability to think, act, and uncover the trick behind curious concepts and peculiar puzzles. This interactive workshop will help you harness your headspace and tackle higher-order thinking
